Imagine a vibrant community where your child's potential is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, and every step forward is met with support. At Trinity Coast Primary School, we aim to make learning an exciting adventure, giving your child the confidence and skills to navigate the world.
Our mission is straightforward:
To create a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
We're not just teaching subjects; we're nurturing young minds, encouraging creativity, and instilling values that go beyond the classroom.
Through engaging lessons, supportive relationships, and collaboration, we're empowering children to tackle challenges, discover their passions, and become the best versions of themselves.
At Trinity Coast Primary School, we understand that your child's education goes beyond academics; it's about nurturing them as a whole. That's why we focus on instilling values and character traits in all our pupils.
Why they matter:
Values and character traits are the moral compass that will guide your child through life's challenges and opportunities. Tap on each of our superhero traits for more detail.
They shape who they are, how they connect with others, and how they contribute to society. Nurturing these qualities allows our pupils to make ethical decisions, build positive relationships, embrace diversity, overcome obstacles, and lead with purpose.

It's proven that children are happier, more motivated and do better at school when their parents are actively involved in their education.
Your support plays a key role in reinforcing the values and traits we teach. By demonstrating these traits at home and having conversations about moral dilemmas and real-life examples, you can reinforce the lessons learnt in the classroom.
How to help your child do even better at school:
Have meaningful conversations with your child about their school day. Discuss what activities they enjoyed, what they learnt and what they found challenging.
Acknowledge and praise your child’s successes to boost their confidence.
Have conversations with your child about their actions, decisions, and the impact they have on others. Encourage them to reflect on their values and behaviour.
Demonstrate honesty, kindness, respect, and other desirable traits in your interactions with your child and others.
Encourage your child to consider the perspectives and feelings of others. Support activities that promote empathy and understanding, such as volunteering or community service.
Set clear expectations for behaviour and values within the family. Consistently support and encourage these expectations with positive praise and helpful feedback
Create an environment at home where your child feels safe to express themselves, ask questions, and seek guidance when faced with moral dilemmas.
Our values and traits are embedded into our curriculum, classroom routines, and behaviour expectations to cultivate a positive learning environment. Staff model and reinforce these values through lessons, discussions, and activities.
Pupils are recognised through various rewards programs, including MarvellousMe badges, certificates, praise, and special privileges, for regularly demonstrating school values in their behaviour and actions.
Parents play an important l role in reinforcing school values by discussing and modelling them at home, praising their child’s efforts, and supporting their involvement in school activities that promote these values.
Our school has clear criteria and guidelines for rewards and recognition, ensuring that pupils are acknowledged fairly and consistently based on their demonstration of school values, positive behaviour and progress.
